Stam1na – Viimeinen Atlantis
Stam1na released a new album. It is even more progressive than “Raja”, but all those crazy screams and rhythms are included as well, so it’s pretty much the same old hardcore trash metal but more complicated to play :). Some songs are available on bands Myspace page.
Well, the album is great, music is fast, vocals vicious, lyrics pretty much Finnish.

Poets of the Fall – Twilight Theater
First things first – the album can be listened to on RecordshopX (for a week as stated on the official site).
My favorite band released fourth studio album, and from first few hours of listening to it I have to say that Twilight Theater is better than the previous album :). It’s not band’s best album, but it can be second in my opinion. Poets are back to Signs of Life / Carnival of Rust days and I hope they won’t return to Revolution Roulette…

Вот такая классная группа играла на последней тусовке в Академии искусств :). Если кто знает название группы и где можно скачать песенку – поделитесь пожалуйста :).
PS. Кстати, видео сняты на Lumix DMC-FX35, он снимает в некомпрессированном MOV, но зато 720p.

Gojira
…is one of the best progressive-death metal bands today :). Highly recommended to all who likes that kind of music.
My favorite Gojira album is From Mars to Sirius, but the latest The Way of All Flesh is a very solid work too, it’s just heavier and faster. Inside the post there are a few superb videos of the band, I don’t know who shoots them, but the cinematography is marvelous as well as music.

Metallica в Риге и Таллине :)
Забыл написать, что мы с братом поедем-таки на Металлику в Ригу в апреле :). Билеты мне подарила моя милая жена, видимо устав от меня, играющего на барабанах треки с Death Magnetic по вечерам :)…
У Death Magnetic, кстати, офигительная обложка -
…и альбом получился очень неплохим, хотя опять-таки спорным.

The Big Bang Theory theme song…
…is actually written by Barenaked Ladies, one of the bands I was listening to at the age of 20-21 and thought they were long time gone. The song is ingenious of course :).
